The Cambridge IGCSE and O Level English Language and Literature syllabuses offer a variety of routes for learners with a wide range of abilities, including those whose first language is not English. It encourages students to improve their language skills, appreciation of literature and develop a students’ ability to understand.

It provides an excellent foundation for students who -

• Want to continue their studies at a higher level (including AS or A Level, Cambridge Pre-U and International Baccalaureate)
• Need a literature or language qualification to complement other subjects they are studying
• Need a final qualification in English language or literature.
