About the Author
Christien Neser is a speech therapist with an honours degree in French and a master's degree in applied linguistics, to name some of her qualifications. She has also completed the Goethe Institut's Zertifikat Deutsch and managed to acquire a basic knowledge of Spanish before tackling the Inca hiking trail in 2008.
Christien and her husband, Thys, were married in Paris, France, but currently live in Bryanston. They have three children: Louise, Michael and Chris.
Christien adores her husband and kids, and has a passion for languages, writing, reading, British humour, French movies, sudoku, the family's naughty Jack Russell, holidays in faraway places, friends, hiking, skiing and mountain-biking.
