Trumpeter Publishers produces affordable, systematic supplementary workbooks for South African primary schools: early-learning and Grade R activity books, handwriting and first dictionaries, phonics, spelling and comprehension workbooks, English, Afrikaans, isiXhosa and isiZulu language workbooks, life skills, and numeracy and mathematics workbooks from Grade R to Grade 7. Established in 1997 by teachers, with a qualified remedial teacher as principal author, the range is written to give learners a firm foundation through consolidation of the basics. Many workbooks are printed in a choice of Natalia (cursive-ready) or Print script, and most have a free workbook video.
