Key Links Graded Readers

The Key Links Graded Reader Series by Jill Eggleton levels every book from Level 1 to Level 30 across thirteen colour stages — Magenta, Red, Yellow, Blue, Green, Orange, Turquoise, Purple, Gold, Silver, Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire — carrying readers from Emergent (Grade 1) to Fluent (Grade 6). Each title is levelled with Lexile, Reading Recovery and Fountas & Pinnell measures, and the series is CAPS approved for Home Language and aligned for FAL/SAL use.

In guided reading, a teacher works with a small group, each using the same book, and able to read at a similar level with 90–95% accuracy with teacher support — Key Links levels every book so each group reads at exactly the right stage.
