About the Author
Lisa Williams is an Honorary Fellow in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology at the University of Edinburgh and a PhD candidate at the University of St Andrews. Lisa runs educational and anti-racist programmes, working with teachers and pupils across Scotland to explore some of the lesser-known areas of British history.
Lisa grew up in Dorset, lived in the Caribbean, and now lives in Edinburgh, Scotland.
About the Illustrator
Harriet is an illustrator based in Chichester and has worked with Chronicle Books, Quarto, The V&A Museum and The Sunday Times. When she's not sketching, Harriet is by the seaside with her daughters.
