Silas en die ysbeer op Tafelberg

Authors: Annie Klopper, Zandré Coetzer

Format: Paperback

Recommended for ages 5+

Silas’s grandmother sends him off to Dreamland each night with her wonderful stories: about “husse” with long ears, Klaas Vakie and Van Hunks, as well as the wishing goats that live on Table Mountain.

One day, his grandmother is gone. Silas decides to be brave and go look for her in Dreamland. He tries to find his grandmother with the help of all the characters his grandmother told him about and the neighbour’s daughter Willemien.

But Table Mountain in Dreamland is busy disappearing under the snow. And something with an almighty roar is chasing Silas ...

A heart-warming story that will guide children in understanding a difficult concept like death. The story has two formats: a picture book and a chapter book. Perfect for children from 5 years to 11 years old.
