About the Author

Theresa van Baalen skryf stories vir alle ouderdomsgroepe, maar is veral bekend vir die prenteboek Karla Krullebol, asook die Sanri Steyn-reeks. Sy is van kleins af ’n boekwurm en alhoewel sy mettertyd ook boeke vir volwassenes begin lees het, het sy nooit haar voorliefde vir kinder- en jeugboeke ontgroei nie.

As skrywer is dit steeds haar eerste liefde en sy kan nie aan ’n lekkerder werk dink as om stories vir jong lesers te skryf nie. Theresa woon op Port Nolloth waar sy ’n stukkie halfwoestyn in ’n tuin probeer verander en plesier put uit die manewales van ’n klomp halfmak wilde katte.
