Her investigations end at an agricultural school in the Boland. In an unexpected twist it turns out Duke (one of Donnabelle’s offspring being kept at the school) is a very temperamental horse.
The only way to get Duke to Namibia safely is for Robert (or Lucky Luke as he is known at school), a Gr 12 boy who is also a horse-whisperer, to accompany the party consisting of Gabi, her two friends and her stepmum, back to Namibia.
