The Shuters story box series has been developed as an initiative to promote literacy in schools. Each story box contains between sixteen and eighteen titles, with six copies of each title.
The titles are packed in a durable, easily portable box. There is a teacher's resource book which contains four exciting, photocopiable activities per title in each story box.
The activities will help learners to develop and understanding of the text and promote language development. The story boxes have been carefully graded according to the literacy level within each grade.
Level 1 - the literacy level is average to above average for the grade. Level 2 - the literacy level is average for the grade.
Level 3 - the literacy level is below expectation for the grade.
