About the Illustrator
Daniel Long is an illustrator based in Norfolk, United Kingdom, and has been working there since graduating from university in 2014. His work is heavily influenced by the natural world, whether it's the dinosaurs of the Jurassic period, spider monkeys and jaguars of the Amazon rainforest, or the kingfishers and otters of his local Norfolk Broads. When not illustrating, Daniel can be found procrastinating by playing guitar or exploring the Norfolk coastline with his dog, Hendrix.
Angela Rizza is inspired greatly by the wildlife around her home and her favourite childhood stories. Her earliest art lessons were from her grandparents John and Martha Leone, who were professional artists. She is a graduate of New York's famed Fashion Institute of Technology, where she focused on illustration. When working on children's books, she creates illustrations that appeal to the inner child, using remarkable detail and colour to instantly capture the viewer's attention.
